Can someone quickly tell me the differences between ceramic coated and stainless steel headers. Im looking at a 4-1 DC sports header.

Default Re: ceramic coated VS stainless steal (Pharcyde)

**for the most part, some header manuf may vary**
Stainless Steel headers are made of stainless steel tube and mild steel flanges. The flanges will surface rust so consider that in your choice. The SS tubes will last pretty much forever...the welds would fail before the tubes fail.

Ceramic headers are mild steel tubes and flanges coated with a ceramic heat coating. The ceramic coating looks good and may discolor somewhat over time. But the flanges and all will not surface rust.

Hope this helps some
