thanks i was a little worried....frankly, im nervous about all these tegs getting stolen too and was researching another motor/chassis which from the looks seems extreemly underated....anymore info or opinions on the 2zz ge for the celica platform??? i realize this is a honda site, and i will probably stay with the honda, but im curious and wondering if anyone else has some experience with this specific motor. Thanks guys.

agreed... your AVERAGE celica gt OR gt-s buyer is most likely female and/or "aftermarketly retarded" I worked for Toyota for about 1 year. pretty cool cars that serve their purpose... Toyota ditched the car after sales dropped off. Buddy of mine bought one when they first came out.

its actually quite sad, i wonder why its a "chicks" car or a "ricer boy" machien ive been doing some digging and with a set of cams, which are listed on the link im providing....and im sure they are using an aftermarket exhaust (DC sport, cat back) and an intake, the car makes 186 hp.....thats on a stock ecu!!!!!!! wtf..... im wondering if with a good header, such as an smsp, or rmf manufacture, a ported intake manifold/individual throttle bodies, port job, and valve train upgrade, along with some engine management the car would be a beast.....very much comparible to a b18 c
