I've thought about it but haven't bothered to look into it. You seriously think that could be the problem?

Ignition switches have also been known to get flakey. Can you make it happen if you wiggle the key while it's running? I'd check around with a DMM to make sure the switch and all the wiring was OK. Unless you just happen to have a spare ECM...

I agree with JimBlake...when an ignition switch starts to act up all sorts of lights can turn on. Like the cel, srs, abs, etc.
