cel code 4 after swap
Have a 94 ls engine going into an 2000 civic (obd2b)
......i have a cel code 4 for ckp sensor, and the car just
runs in limp mode. So it has a obd2a dizzy and i
changed the wiring from the 8 pin obd2b connector to
the 9 pin obd2a connector. The tach works fine but i
cant get the cel 4 to go away and i tried 2 different
obd2a dizzys ( thats all i have for now) just to verify. Ive
also traced the ckp signal and ground from the dizzy to
the ecu plug through the jumper and to b15 and b16 on
the ecu which is the correct location for them on obd1.
So is it possible to run the combination of obd2b
jumper harness and obd2a dizzy to obd 1 and have it
work properly? Anyone with insight as to what to do as
far as testing or who has done it this way before i would
appreciate your help. Thanks
