anybody have any ideas on what else to check to get rid of a P0171 code? its a 2000 civic si with a b20 vtec motor. i replaced the fuel pump because it went out, and i have replaced the primary o2 sensor also. any help would be appreciated. thanx

P0171 Fuel System Too Lean. What ecu are you running? you are starving your motor

 

its the stock ecu and it only has intake. no other mods.

 

i have a 97 civic its coding 65 what would that be my motor is a d16y7

 

stock what? SI? b20? if its an SI then thats your problem since b20 needs more fuel..Get an ecu chipped to a 2.0 liter for your setup and get it tuned

 

1.) look for vacuum leaks
2.) possible clogged up fuel filter
3.) bad fuel pressure regulator
4.) good luck
