Default Cel code 22 on 98 GSR

Guys I really need some help here, I know nothing about cars and last night while driving home from a friends my car started to sputter around 5K and up. It sounds like it's detonating, then the check engine light came on. Today I checked the code and it was 22, I think it's the oil pressure switch or the wire connecting to it. Does anyone have any information on it? Thanks in advance.

VTEC oil pressure switch. If that switch isn't satisfied with the oil pressure, or if it's circuit is disconnected, then the ECU won't trigger VTEC to engage. Then it'll set error code 22...

First, check your oil... Then if it's OK you can go after the switch & it's circuit.
