Whats up guys.. I just bought a chipped P28 with supposedly a Mugen program. I was wondering if it is normal to throw a code with a chipped ECU? I havent had time to check the code but I will tonight. My car never threw a code before with the P72. Please let me know.

Update: I tried checking for a code and the CEL light just stayerd on, no blinking at all.

 

reset the ecu...and start it let it idles...if the light stays on, then it means that the error is serious, badly chipped ecu or damaged ecu, (check if the chip is in properly, if all is good also it can me usually, wrongly matched ecu...

The car runs fine but the CEL comes on after I've been driving for 2 or 3 minutes for no apparent reason

 

most likly its code 3, basically some 92-3 ecus are not matched to the 94-5 distributors, and throw this code...
