All Honda/Acura OBD1 and OBD2 have a self diagnostic function built in. The SCS two pin connector for some Preludes is in the center console by the driver's foot I believe (I have not been working for Honda since I switched to Acura in '99, so my memory is a little rusty when it comes to Honda). Anyway it's just a matter of finding the SCS two pin connector and shorting it and then reading the CEL. Long flashes =tens; short flashes = ones. After that use the correct troubleshooting guide for the trouble code(s) and your on your way.
