Default cat question

i posted this in the teg forum but didnt recieve much info...i have a test pipe on my car right now but i want to put a high flow cat on...i have a 99 gsr but im usin an apexi header for a b16 which is too long to use the factory cat so i got a custom test pipe to use until i find a cat...so anyways i need a cat that is close to 12 inches long...anyone know a car that uses a 12 inch cat.....del sol? this CEL is getting anoyin to look at so any help would be appreciated...

http://www.mufflertech.com may be able to help. i got a highflow cat for my civic that they made to fit from a v8 cat. mine wasn't any different length than the stock, but i would think they could make custom length for you if nec.

You still may throw a code even with a high flow cat. Just make an O2 simulator and splice it inline with your ECU. Works great. I have the diagram to make one if you need it. Or you can search and find it in here. That way you can keep your test pipe which is much better than any cat anyways...

i would be very interested in seeing that diagram...i did a search a couple days ago but i doubt i was searchin for the right thing i would like to see it though...

Buy a Carsound universal cat with some flanges and have an exhaust shop make it fit...any decent shop shoul dhave no problem with this one.
