Why would anyone prefer an axle back over a cat back?
Do you know the difference between the 2??
Anyone that does wouldn't have to decide between the two.

It's just like it sounds:
cat back - from the cat to the exhaust tip
axle back - from the rear axle to the muffler tip
If you are looking for performance, then you want to make changes to the entire exhaust system: header, high flow cat, catback exhaust.

Nothing more needs to be said.
Axle back exhausts are for cheap bastards or ricers. They really dont contribute to much of anything other than the "fart pipe" factor.
