they give you about 14 hp at the wheels and the 'checkered' pattern gives you that race car look!

saved me two things...

$250 because it was purched thru an insurance claim in a minor fender bender (an oem hood is $450 plus $300 total to paint the two sides, VS. the $500 for a CF hood, shipped.)

20 LBS because it is much lighter than the stock steel hood.

It also made my car look much better becasue I (and most others) think that carbon fiber is just mezmerizing under sunlight, it really is amazing... nothing major but I guess its another good point.

they help to balance out all that weight that is on the front wheels in a FF car..

but they make your car look stupid unless you paint it.

Ours come with windshield washer holes pre-drilled. So installtion is quote simple. I also have it available without washer holes, but after 3 years of making carbon fiber hoods I got a lot of e-mail with customers wanting them. So we decided to include them with our new line up of hoods. Here is a picture. Have a good day.

It's a lot of money to spend just to save 20lbs and make you car look ghetto (like it came from a junkyard or chop shop). It's alright on a black car though. That's just how I see it anyways. But your car is your decision.
