Hi, my car has been treating quite loyal for the past 5 yrs that Ive owned it, no mechanical problems whatsoever, but now I have an electric problem. My civic wont start, already tried a new coil and a new ignition module, bought both new for the distributor but no luck What do you guys think it can be? It cant be the fuel pump or fuel filter cuz theres no spark coming for the wires...

 

does the engine crank when you turn the key? if you turn the key to run without starting do you hear a "kind of" quiet click and a buzzing sound?

If all above is true you could just have a bad dizzy.

 

any check engine lights? like a solid cel or anything when the key is in the number two spot?

Yea the engine cranks when key is turned, and no I dont hear the fuel pump, but there is no spark from wires to ground....and wtf is a dizzy? I just wanna turn my f***** car on already!! Any idea where the relay switch is located?

 

under the dash on the drivers side. if its an EF, its above the kick pannel, if its EG, its near the fuse box

 

Sounds like a your main relay isnt turning on, that would be caused by a bad main relay or bad ecu... I doubt its the ecu though, its like 3 inches up on the drivers side. Its a pretty big relay so its hard to miss, but its up there... behind ****...

 

on my eg hatch the main relay was shot and car was having a hard time turning on, replaced and it turned on 100%
