i have an 02 s2k..49K miles. the other day the car wouldnt start, after about a 30 minute drive..the car took a push start, and has started with no hesitation ever since. (2 days later)..i was wondering if this is a battery issue? i checked the connections on the battery, there are no ecu codes. when it didnt start you could hear the alternator belt turning very very slowly, there was no fast clicking like if a starter were to f up.

check the voltage across the battery terminals with the car off. if it reads below 11V the car prolly won't crank.
