Car wont start
Ok im trying to diagnosis a problem for a friend
95 civic DX coupe, pretty much stock.
car will crank and WILL catch (meaning you can release the starter and it will run) BUT only for 2 seconds then everything shuts off. even electrical stuff (gauge cluster lights, etc)
its confused the hell out of me.
even with throttle WIDE OPEN in will start and run to about 4000 then everything dies within 2 seconds again.
he has the car at a shop for the weekend but they wont get a chance to run a diagnostic till monday.
checked Cap, Rotor, timing belt, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignitor, all fuses (under dash and under hood), fuel pump is sending fuel when it cranks.
any suggestions are great.
