hey guys, a kid recently came to me with a problem with his car. the vtec wasnt working. the person who owned the car hacked up the whole ecu harness... i must have hit something to knock a wire loose... and now the car wont start. the pump turns on, there is spark, and im getting fuel to the rail and the fuel pressure guage reads 40. im guessing that the injectors arent pulsing. does this sound correct? any help would be appreciated. car is a EG cx with lsvtec

how is your base ignition timming, have you checked your timming belt to see that everything is align properly, im guessing its an obd 0 computer ??? , is the firing order correct, this my sound simple but you may be suprised how many times this is the problem, you also want to make a compression test, check this before you buy yourself other injectors

 

solved the problem the hacked up harness...one of the injector wires was exposed and it was hitting another wire, so when the key was on it was just dumping fuel. i had to change the plugs several times to get it to finally run. because they were covered in fuel.
