Ok the battery light is on in my crx and my car wont drive more than a couple feet. It hella dies. So I searched and I saw that it supposed to be my alternator. I got a new battery and that didnt solve it. So before i change that, is there any other thing that could cause this problem?

 

i hope you didnt buy the battery after you learned that it was the alternator. it sounds like an alternator to me, but it could be something like the main relay, or a bad ignition switch...

 

I don't know what everyone else is gonna say.. But I do remember that if the battery light comes on, it's because the alternator isn't charging.

That light goes off once the alternator starts to charge.. I could go on and on about how the neat little thing works, but I don't have all day.. Good Luck though..
