Default car runs a bit laggy , please help

hey all , long story short, i changed a 255 walbro fuel pump the day before yesterday, and went for a dyno got pretty go number, then that night went on a freeway when the rain was pouring , i don;t think i went through any puddels and i got splash guard, the only things is i got a hole on the front bumper (jdm front dc), then after i got off the freeway, paid the toll, started driving the car again , the car suddenly shook a little, then ran a little laggy, then i drove it home at pretty low rpm, car did not stall and did not act werid or anything, then since that night , my car feels a bit laggy, like in second gear , before when i pedal i can feel the pull, but now i can't really feel it , the exhaust getting louder but the car does't go as much as before also vtec is bit weaker than before, so i got a few questions here, first is it possible that really small amount got into my engine and made it run crap, i know the you have to going to deep puddel that can submerged filter .........but is it possible (2) could that be my new fuel pump, i did not change fuel filter and fuel regulator, is it possible that it leans out the second gear. tomorrow i will check my dissy , leads , plugs, leads and plugs are pretty newish, i just wanna hear what you guys think, btw the car did not blow any smoke, at least i did not see it when driving hard, cheers
