Hey guys i have a 94 civic hatch. I have a carbon fiber hood that has holes or scoops or whatever you wanna call it. When it rains my car does this thing after driving down the road a little where i can rev it for like 2 seconds then it just bogs down. Even when i have my gas petal all the way down. After holding my foot down after a few seconds it will rev up again then repeat the process for 20 or so minutes. If i try to put it in to gear it will go then stop, go then stop. I dont know what the problem is. Could it be because the distributor is getting wet? that was my first thought. Let me know what you think.

 

thats what i was thinking was the distributor getting wet. Have you tried taking the cap off and seeing if there was any moisture built up in there?

Definitely check the cap for moisture on inside WHEN ITS having issues...

 

also take note of anything that should not be getting wet but has moisture, like your air intake and such

 

WD-40 Displaces water instantly !!! Will be good to check if that is the problem !
