Car Just Doesn't Sound The Same...
About 2 weeks ago, I was driving along, and I noticed that my car just doesn't sound the same...
Engine is a built B18C, and exhaust gasses are sent through an Edelbrock header with 2.5" collector mod, to a CarSound high-flow cat, to a Tanabe Racing Medallion catback...
When I got my car back from build in March, the car sounded pretty damn good. Deep exhaust note but a little raspy up top, which I liked...
Now, it's sounding very muffled... I was in the hospital & out of work for about a week & a half, so I haven't had the chance to get out there & check it out to see if there are any leaks (header & cat & flexpipe are new from March)...
Any suggestions on what I can check?? The car doesn't sound bad, but I miss the way it sounded before...

Hmmm. I don't think it would be muffled if you had a leak, if anything it should be louder. First thing that comes to mind is that cat collection some deposits and altering the tune slightly??
