i have a 00 civic with an ls vtec motor. bought a new battery. the car never starts unless jumped & once i shut it off or the car shuts itself off due to low rpms it doesnt start back up unless jumped. what could it be? im gonna put it a new alternator 2nite but other than that the idle doesnt jump but sometimes its 1.5 & sometimes its 0.5 wen i leave the car running it stays on, its when i start drivin coming to stop signs and lights the rpm goes low & dies out. HELP!

 

I would look for Vacuum leaks or make sure u have all your vacuums right. When you come to a stop the brake booster uses a lot of vacuum and its just knocking you idle down will your on the brake.
