Default car dying

hey, ive just put type r cams (96 spec itr) into my da6 integra with a b16a gen1 and it works fine but it randomly dies. the revs just die and the motor stops and it wont start untill i reset the ecu and then its fine again? then first time it did this it put out code 3 which is map but its happened a another 2 times and hasnt put out any more codes? the mods on it are: intake and pod, msd coil, exhust, mugen chip and now the cams. my car was running fine before the cams and had never thrown a code before.

any help on this would be good!

maybe your timing is now off because of these new cams. Also, check all the simple things fuses, loose wires, ect.

sorry not much more help.

Have you looked at your timing? That's real important and stuff. Also, you mentioned that you have a mugen chip. Is that a replacement ECU? Try putting your stock one back in if it is - those things can get funky sometimes.

ok now its not goin at all ive reset the ecu and it just wont fire up ive tripple cheacked that the cam gears are in the right place!

would the timming stop the car from running now? every time ive used it the time frame from when it dies is getting shorter the first time it took about 2 hours the next about 1 and then 20min and then 10min and now it wont even start!

when i took the distrubuter off i marked were it was and put it back in the same place, would the new cams have differnent timming?

and no the mugen chip is just a repacement chip. oh and the first time this happened it put out code 3 (map) but every other time there hasnt been a code and currnetly no code! help!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a pretty good chance it the timing, i think you should redo it, and if you could get another ecu to test it that would b best.
