car doesnt want to start... :-(
ok after my car has been sitting for a while, about a day or so, when i go to start it back up, it will turn over and over and over and like sounds like its not even firing, if i continue to do this, it will eventually sound like it starting to spark and will then start to turn over on its own(semi started) just sounding like its firing on 1 cylinder, but if i keep the gas pressed and will revv up and level out in about 10 seconds and then it will idle fine!?!?
i dont get, i dont know what the problem could be, could it be a blown headgasket?? this is really not cool cause its my only transportation and its being unreliable :-(
will someone please help me out thanks
matt
edit: dont know if it helps, but its a b20/vtec - pr3 head - stock b20b bottom end

From my little tuning experience Ive learned that if you need to hold the throttle open to start the car that means its getting too much fuel during cranking.
My question to you is how are you tuned? FMU? Give us alot more details about your setup.

fuel i dont think is an issue, it varies from when it is cold or warm outside, and since cold season is right around the corner, this is not good
My 91 Accord is having a similar problem. It starts up perfect in the morning, but turns over for about 5 minutes when I leave to go home from work at 4pm.
I'm wondering if mine doesn't have something to do with being warm all day.
