Default car died

hopefully you guys can help me out...I was getting on the freeway on 2nd gear at 5500rpms getting ready to shift to 3rd, then my car just dies...no loud clunk or explosion...just a silent death. Got it towed home, checked the oil and coolant levels and both were pretty low. Before it died I made sure to top off the oil and coolant, so i was pretty surprised to see them both low. I'm thinking, it might be the head gasket, but i'm not so certain as to what the symptoms would be, and I was told my car would start even w/ a bad head gasket. So what could the problem be?

oh yeah, motor is a jdm h22, replaced all belts, hoses, pumps, plug wires, plugs and dizzy

ANY HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED THANKS!

did u replace with a "new" dizzy?..when the igniter or coil u usually go bad the car will just die with no warning or symptoms...check and see if your getting spark doesnt sound like a gasket to me.

no spark, BUT the plugs look like the metal part/electrode? just disappeared...just the ceramic part of it left...any ideas? BTW, i drove around for the better part of 3 days w/out the o2 sensor and running rich because of it (had finished swap and o2 sensor plugs were wrong), shot flames out of my header everytime i shifted...would this have caused the plug failure?

Do they look melted? What mods have you done to the engine?

Stock engine, no major mods except intake and exhaust. There's just a small black dot where the metal electrode is s'posed to go, doesn't look melted at all. I replaced the plugs, but still no spark, any ideas...

thanks for the replies

take off your distributor. have some crank the and you check the cam if it is rotating. if is not, broken t.b. if it is something is wrong with your distributor assy.

LOL, they don't run very well when the ECU dosen't have power. Hopefully it was just a one time thing.
