its a 92 vx with a 96 gsr turbo motor. i was driving to work the other morning. driving along in 5th gear at about 3k rpm and the A/F gauge drops from green to red and the car falls on its face, then it goes back to green and drives fine. what could this be?

Any codes? Sounds like an O2 sensor problem.

What engine harness did you use when you swapped?

 

Sounds like your fuel pump might need to be replaced soon. I had this problem on the track, it would turn on sometimes and sometimes it wouldn't. So I changed the furl pump and never had that problem again. hope this helps bro!

 

the car is not throwing any codes. the harness is a vx. swap has been done for atleast 2 years. i'm running a NOS fuel pump. that is straight wired to the battery, with a toggle switch as my on/off.

 

So it was working fine, and now it is not correct?

 

thats exactly right. just started acting up, on the way to work last friday.
