i was driving my car on the highway and it started to bogg. it decelerated, and i had to give it more gas to go.
In neutral it wouldnt rev past 2500rpms.
And it wouldnt go past 2500 rpm in gears......
Now it doesnt do it anymore. what was the problem?? bad gas?

 

boggin' sounds like a ignition problem (often confused wit fuel system problems) check ur system for spark and arcing check for a worn rotor a crack on the dist. cap wires etc...

 

ok thanks....i told a friend about it and he said it also might deal with dizzy/ignition problem. ill check it out tomorrow.

 

did changing the dizzy helped?..

 

Had the same problems except the reving past 2500 part....I also think its the dizzy or maybe wires...Because i changed my fuel filter and it was still doing it....

But the weird thing is that it only does it every now and then????
