Default car always lagging power

I need some help on my 90 Civic Dx. My car seems to lag everytime I go. As if there is not enough air intake. After I go, then it picks up later. I have a crane cam, DC sport headers, flowmaster exhaust, AEM pulleys, and a chip. I am going to change my dpfi to mpfi tomorrow. Hopefully that solves all my problems. Any advise out there would be helpful. Thanks a lot. Oh yeah, I was wondering if a 89 integra ecu or a si would be better for the mpfi upgrade. Which one has more hp?

welcome to a honda.
they have no lowend.

your problem is probably this
1) the cam - because its a higher lift and duration (probably) its gonna kill you down low. lets too much air in and out)
2) the full exhaust intake and header- granted, it helps ALOT in the top end but it does hurt low end.
3) aem pulleys - yep they hurt low end too.
