cant get distributor rotor off???
I took off the screw to the rotor and tried to pull the rotor off, no luck. I then tried to pry it off, no luck. is there something im forgetting to do? plus, it read p73 on the inside of the distributor, gsr's read p72, so it must be from a type-r, right? correct me if im wrong.
yah those screws can be bitches...
but once ug et them off, the best way to get the rotor off is to gently wiggle it off. If you try to pull it at an angle it will just get cought and you wont make any progress. Alot of times, it seems like rust builds up on the shaft which ends up holding the rotor onto the shaft. When you do get it off, you can take a que-tip and some rubbing alcohol, clean it off and if your really parinoid, take some diaelectric greese and lube it lighty.
