CAN'T FIND SENSOR
My ecu keeps throwing a code for some speed sensor. I think its the vss or vcc, somthing like that. But its also the reason my speedometer doesn't work anymore. My mechanic said he accidently cut a wire when installing my tranny but anyhow to the question. Where is the damn thing. I look and look and can't find that stupid sensor. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
your mechanic needs to "accidentally" get a kick in the *****. make his *** fix it
ok the VSS is located on the top of the tranny back (firewall) half. its a connector that has 2 wires comming off it
obviously trace them as far as you can to find where they were cut.

you could allways just use a wire repair kit and crimp the wires together and not buy a new vss. Also is your car cable tranny because the easy way to fing it on a cable tranny is to trace the spedo cable to it.
