My first blind stab in the dark would be VSS and then O2 sensor (altho I'm pretty sure they only come in grey sockets).

What part of the engine bay are we looking at?

What year car is it? It could be anything, it looks like a newer car. I have seen that plug used for IAT and the EVAP purge system.

Where is the plug? Which side of the harness is it on?

i think that is the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) ... you need that! or else you will throw a code, and your speedometer will not work

VSS in most cases (honda) has three inputs. Do I see four? Yeah suggested, o2 or VSS...

or do yourself a favor and get a repair manual with pin outs so you can look it up.

Your picture sucks and that is like the most common connector on OBD1+ wiring harnesses. It looks like it's just behind the intake manifold around the place where the Purge Control solenoid goes... do you have one of those black solenoids with 2 vacuum lines going into it? One of the vacuum lines goes to the back of the intake manifold and the other goes to the charcoal canister.

If i'm wrong, then that plug looks like the kind on: O2 sensors, Reverse light, or coolant temp. Speed sensor is wider than that plug.

i'm with slomofo on this one, i think it may be the evap plug...what color are the wires going to the plug? here is where the evap is, check this diagram....

sorry guys been gone all day, its a 96 ek with 94 gsr head and 97 b20b block

it use to be an ls vtec with the oil seperator canister and the EVAP canister but the EVAP has been plugged off for now until i find a way around it and the oil seperator canister is gone because its still on the ls block(b18a) lemme go see what color the wires are and the VSS plug is already plugged in

that pic is behind the intake manifold

colors are black/yellowstripe and red/yellow stripe and is has slot for 2 pin

correct me if im wrong but the gsr does not have an EVAP solenoid?? the manifold is also gsr

and yes i do have a CEL havnt checked for codes yet was hoping to do that tomorrow

the car does run and everything on cluster works except the srs and CEL light is still on please help TIA

yes the gsr has an evap...see the pics above...just checked helms again and it looks like my hunch was right that is plug c117 blk/yellow red/yellow it is the evap plug. my teg (98 GS with jdm b18c sir-g motor) has the same manifold as the gsr and i do not have an evap hooked up and the plug is just zip tied hidden behind the manifold and i throw NO codes for it. i don't think there is a need for it ...it may not be your code...check your code then let me know what it is...

woah...no, just the plug i ment was zip tied out of the way, it is not hooked up to anything at all...and i throw no codes. sorry for the confusion. you need to check the code(s) and go from there.
