Hi guys!

I have searched the forum on info that would help me out but could not find anything.

I recently purchased an OEM CTR rear lip from a 98 ctr, hoping that it would fit my 99 civic hatch just like it should. Turns out that the lip sags down on the corners of the bumper.

I think the bottom lip portion of the rear bumpers are different from 96-98 to 99-00.

Can anybody tell me what modifications need to be done for the lip to sit flush with the bumper?

Any help would be appreciated... thank guys!

They wont fit. Your going to need to modify the lip and its not worth it in my opinion. I think the 99 bumper is a little longer so your gonna have to chop the lip and extend.

 

the bumpers are the same for 96-00 on the hatches.

 

Someone probably jipped you off for a replica.
