Can I swap a B18C crank and put it into a B16 to make it 1.8L? I know the bore is the same, but the difference would be the stroke. Now I would also use B18c rods and pistons so the only thing I would use is the B16 casing?

1.b16a's stroke is 77 b18c's is 87
2.b16a's rods are 134mm b18c are 137
3.b16a's decks are 263mm b18c's are 270
To tell you the truth i have never seen this done. But i don't think it would be a good idea in theroy. Thre might be issues with some valve tapping. Not really sure I have never done it or seen it happen. Just get a ls/gsr bottom end.
