Can compression test number be off due to very hot weather?
My engine hits 300+ psi in all cylinders (12:1). In the Northeast weather has been very hot and humid (102F). I had my car out for an hour and it felt really sluggish has to be becaue of the weather. I did a compression test and I hit 300 (cylinder 4) 300 (cylinder 3) 290 (cylinder 2) 295 (cylinder 1) I did a compression test about 2 weeks ago and I was 300 across the board. Any opinions
its still within limits
i wouldnt worry about it
test it late at night to be sure
thats high compression, pump gas?

Compresion tests you look for variances between cylinders more than absolute numbers, so it realy won't matter about the temprature.
