Default can compression drop from engine sitting for long time?

I just did the compression in the gsr and it came up to 190 180 180 170

car sat for a year after accident and I don't know if the low numbers because of cold engine and sitting for long time or because it needs rings

probably because the engine was dead cold and hadn't been heat cycled in a while.

on one of my engines I compression tested it after then engine sat for a few weeks and it was 30psi lower than hot.

Rings and cylinder walls might have gotten dry. Run it up to operating temp, then follow the comp check proceedure.
