Can a B16A2 engine be turned into a Type-R?
It probably sounds like a bumb question, but I was just wondering how you could make the b16a2 into a type-r. I don't know if it's even posible, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

probably not.........you can put alot of aftermarket parts into your B16 and make as much if not more HP than the ITR engine but it will never be a B18C5

all that a b18c5 is a stroked, PnP, b16,with a few other minor modifications. So i would say that yes a b16 could be made into a B18c5 but would it be cost effective? no.

Not just stroked, its a taller block to begin with. The B16B is a destroked B18C5. I got my B18C5 bottom for about $1900 and a set of cams and a decent P&P would only run a couple hundred bucks so yea, it can be made into an ITR motor but trust me on this, it aint worth $2500... EV.
