camshaft instillation

How do guys line up the camshaft in the journals? Do you use the drill bit hole in the cap and camshaft, or do you use an end play indicator? Please explain. thanks

I don't claim to spell well but jeez. I line up the cam gears with the head. I only use the pins on the shitlude motors. If you want to pin it use drill bits, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, or whatever fits.
