cams for b16
im curious to see what cams are available out there, and the opnions of which one is better. I am looking for a profile that will give me more torque on the bottom with out losing too much on the top
you're dealing with a 1.6 engine man.
take advantage of gearing and rpm to make up with the lack of torque.
but toda cams are road race cams and give incredible midrange as well as good top end. if you want to auto cross or roadrace, i would probably choose those.
I was given the chance to ride in a Toda A prepared b16a2 and I loved it. Especially witht he flywheel, it made a heck of a difference, and that was only 169whp on stock bottom end.

has anyone ran the spoon cam, or the gude cam? i cant seem to find any specs on the gude cam... i want to find one w/ descent off the line torque cause i want this to be a street motor, so im guessing for something towards more roadrace than straight drag
Gude=sucks
Spoon=little more lift and durection than the R cams
Type R=good if you wallet is light
Jun=if your rich
Toda=same as jun
Skunk=best all around value
