Default Cam Journals & Caps. Please Look?

Bought a new head and took it all apart tonight so I can send it off for porting.

Here are the end cam journals, followed by the insides of the cam caps....

Do these look okay??

In the first pic, on the right side, there's a slight ridge I can feel with my fingernail... But the rest of them are pretty smooth...

I don't know much about this aspect of building, and this is the first head I've disassembled myself... I just pray that these are pretty normal for a used head... I didn't expect it to be perfect & new but I'd like some opinions... :shrugs:

Looks good, I'd use it without a doubt.

With regards to the ridge... is that where the camshaft ends? I'd consider it normal if it is.

Just put the cams back into place, and on the first pic, the ridge that sticks up slightly corresponds to a groove in the cam...

It is fine from what the pics look like. Just for future ref, drag your fingernail accross the surface. If your nail catches on any part of it, thats when you have to worry. But it looks good as far as I can tell
