The part of the cam holder that the valve cover bolt screws into busted off on a D16Z6 I have.

My question is, can I replace the cam holder with one from any D16Z6? The cam holders don't have to match the block like the rocker shaft collars do, or anything funny like that, do they?

cam holder, as in the cam caps (little U shaped parts that hold your cam in place)??

if so, then those are not interchangable. people throw heads away if they don't have the matching cam caps.

it COULD work, but you run the risk of the journals being out of round, unless you have them align-bored.
