Default cam gears slipping?

just want to know how often this realy does happen. i have spoon cam gears and have had no problem. just want some feedback

Not often if you pay attention and tighten them after adjustments. It depends on the design of the gear too of course.

I had skunk2 and they slipped right after installation because the foo that did it for me totally forgot about it. I spent 3 hours trying to diagnose the reason why my car wont start...then my eyes caught the cam gears and realized they were out of sync. Luckily none of the valves got bent as a result. After tightening them...had no problem.
