Cam Gear degreeing....Help
Ok the only info on this i have is this:
For TDC:
Just align the cam gear dimples so that the 9 o'clock mark on the intake cam gear lines up to the 3 o'clock mark on the exhaust cam gear. Also be on the TDC mark on the crank pulley
Ok my question is how do you find the TDC mark on the crank pulley? Im guessing thats advancing timing to TDC (0BTD)??
To Degree Cam Gears:
Overlay them with the stock gears and line up the key notch as well as the TDC mark and side dimples.
Be on the TDC mark on the crank pulley
So basically im using the timing light to see the TDC (0BTC) mark and setting my timing there, then lining up the cam gears key notches and dimples with the stock ones, then im lining up the 9 o clock on in take camgear to the 3 o clock on exhaust camgear??? Am i right or what? Fill me in if im wrong lol
