cam caps
I recently bought a 1st gen b16a head off ebay. What was not included was cam caps. If I am thinking of the right parts, they are the 8 little pieces that go over the cams then the cam rails go on top of that and then the valve cover. Can I go to the honda dealor and purchase these? Would I need a machine shop to install them?
thanks in advance

Can buy from Honda dealer( I thought, but apparently wrong) "Thanks guys". No, you do not need machine shop to install if stock caps.

The dealer does not sell the cam caps seperately. You have to buy the head to get them. I have an extra set from my old b16 head. Make me an offer if you would like to get them from me. BTW they are in good condition and I have pics.

The dealor will not sale the parts seperate ( complete head only ) you need to pick up a used set and have them line bored. SOMETIMES you can assemble the haed and cams and spin them by hand and you can get away without a machine shop------Good luck
