Cam cap bolt snapped!!!!!
I replaced the sender and the temp gauge is now working fine. But...now I got a new problem. My girlfriend drove the car the next morning and said it started sputtering so she pulled over and turned off the engine. As she was giving me a call, she noticed "white smoke" coming out from under the hood. So I drove over to her to check it out. I started the engine and it was running fine, although I did still hear some tapping noises. I guess I didn't adjust the valves enough and it took me awhile to get it to specs. So anyways, I looked closely at the valve cover and saw a lil bit of oil. I'm guessing she thought the blue smoke from the oil burning was the white smoke that she saw. I probably didn't seal the valve cover gasket enough or I might have to get a new on. We left the car in the lot and came back at night to get it. I decided to drive it while she drove my car. It only took about a minute or so to get form the parking lot to her house, but I noticed the temp gauge slowly rising already but I didn't drive it long enough to get to NOT. I didn't see any blue smoke at all. The engine was smooth while I was driving it normally, but when I stepped on it just a lil harder I can feel the engine sputtering. Could this be from the valve cover gasket or could it possibly be that because the engine has been sitting still for a few months and the fuel was old and that's why it was running weird?

A valve cover gasket leaking WILL NOT make your car sputter. As for fuel maybe but not likely. I park my car every winter and it sits for 4 months or more and I start it right up in April. You have other issues that need taken care of.
get new cam cap bolts from Honda like every other time you torque them. I snapped off two in my head before I learned. and if you wanna drill the old ones out yourself, watch yhem metal shavings cause they'll ruin your day also.
I already replaced all the cam cap bolts. I'm past that problem already. I guess I'll try to do a compression check and a leak down test.
I took the car to the shop and he said that there's something wrong with the timing belt and that it was put on wrong. Homeboy wants to charge $250 to replace just the timing belt (no water pump). Says he has to take it all apart and check to see what's wrong. That sounds like too much. If its a matter of just taking off the timing belt and correctly placing it back on, then I can do that. I probably just messed up the first time I put it on. But I checked the timing marks before I put everything together and they all match up.
Here's how it rides: While it's still cold, it'll idle at about 1700 and the engine is smooth throughout stop and go. But once it warms up it'll idle around 300-400. When I step on it to go, it struggles until I get it up to about 15-20 mph, then its fine. Can anybody tell me if its an easy fix or should I let the shop fix it?

It could be 1 tooth out of time maybe. Check it with a timing light before pulling it all apart. Then it could be 75 other things also. Just have to troubleshoot till you find it.
I've changed timing belt and water pumps plenty of time before and I've never had this problem before. Everything is set to TDC before I put the timing belt on and the tensioner is loose. I pulled the belt tightly from the water pump side up onto the intake cam and then onto the exhaust cam. After that I tighten the tensioner. I start to turn the crank counterclockwise and the belt jumps teeth on the exhaust cam. Before I started turning the crank, I was feeling around for the tension on the belt. From the tensioner to the intake cam, its a little loose. From the intake cam to the exhaust cam, its loose. And from the exhaust cam to the crank, its pretty firm. I figured I must have been doing the procedure wrong so I looked it up.
I followed the DIY here: http://www.team-integra.net/forum/bl...nt-g3-teg.html
And I still can't get it right.

That's from the manual and how I've always done it. Do you have the correct belt? Belt and pump must match. Some are a little longer.
So I changed the timing again and now it runs better, but I still get a little sputtering from time to time. Less than before tho. I'm going check the timing again and replace the valve cover gasket. I saw some oil leak from the valve cover area. It must've been worn out from taking it on and off one too many. I'll make an update on what happens after. Thanks for help.
