I have a question regarding the y8 engine.

The pulley that's closest to the lower driver's side engine mount (slightly in front of mount)... which pulley is this?

And should this pulley be running at all times when the engine is running?

i belive it is the ac pulley, that what it is on my z6

 

there are two in front of the engine mount, upper - power steering, lower - AC
