caliper bolt is rounded off help
i was working on a freinda car and he went to a dealer to get his brakes done and them ******** prob used a impact on the small 10-12mm bolts that are on the caliper so its completly rounded, i need help taking it out now anyone know a way to take it out
If the dealership just recently did the brake work on it, why wouldn't your friend bring the car back to the shop to have them fix it at no charge?
the car was with another freind who went to the dealer years back and said he was gonna chge the pads but he too just left them, so im prob gonna grind it to like a 6 mm or just vice grip the **** out of it which i already did, or cut a slot in in and use a flathead to lossen it, wtf though my dad lost my expletivein makes me so mad, he lost my attachment for my rotozip so i can actually do anything, ill prob end up cuting the bolt off cuz the caliper will slide right out anywaays ha, i hate the expletivein dealership ********
hey bro, craftsman sells a stripped/bolt out socket set. Just go to sears and ask them about the 5pc easyout socket set, should run you about $25 bucks. the best investment i made in about 2 years. works on everything, just use a larger socket over thier set and bolt should come out like normal!

They do sell bigger sets but they cost more of course.
