Default cable y1 with vss?

how do i convert to cable driven speed sensor? i'm stumped here

i have a Y1 tranny, but with a non-cable VSS... ?


i guess you just put in in and wire it to your ECU? i don't know. it was on the car when i bought it.

well, my gauge cluster is also cable driven speedo...i won't be able to read speed if i don't somehow get that ****** to work

get a cable vss, and undolt the electric one you have in there now(one 10 mm bolt) put the cable one in and your set. I just did the same thing. you can use one from a D series tranny aswell ( as per other H-T members) . You can get one for less that 50 on here.

i used my stock VSS from my D series tranny.
