A/C into you intake?
i know thus us gona sound realy dumb, and no i'm not a noob, just curious. anyways, i know that generally you gain 1HP for every 11 degrees you intake temp drops, so is there anyway to vent the cold air from you A/C into your intake pipe (if you weld on a little Y piece) to make your intake colder? i know this would work great for turbo guys if it possable. (lol. please dont flame)
I hear this question asked over and over all acrossed the endless internet. Do it and I guarantee you'll feel a huge improvement, or that's what all the other people have said.

air conditioner puts load on the engine - so if colder air theory really does add 1% hp for every 11 degrees, and lets say your car makes 180whp... you hook up the A/C and gain 3% - 5.4whp.. then at 185.2whp you must loose at least 3% of the horsepower with A/C. lets say theres 5-10% loss.. subract that from 185.2whp and you don't get far..
on other hand.. replacing intake manifold gasket with lets say hondata gasket does cool temps down and it works, these temps matter after car has been running for some time, engine gets hot so does intake manifold, gasked helps to keep the temps down.
