2003 Honda Element 150K miles

My son has my 2003 Element in San Antonio, just a little hot there & he just called to ask about this:

He recently notice that the keyless entry will not unlock the drivers side door and from time to time the a/c fan will stop intermitently.

Seems like an odd combo, but I have seen stranger things happen. One thing alerts you to another problem there. Like Ford trucks not going into O/D if your brake lights are out.

Other than that every thing else seems to be fine. I am just perplexed & I hate to spend a lot of $$$$ for some clown to tell me nothing is wrong or replaces unneeded parts.


Any thoughts?
