Default a/c dryer receiver question

I just reinstalled my a\c Integra and have yet to get any freon added. I was wondering since dryers go bad when exposed to air, would it be ok to install it with out the freon in for 1-2 days? How long does it take for the dryer to become ineffective?

Thanks,
Brad

As long as the drier was stored air-tight. Then put straight on into the a/c system it should be alright as long as the ac system is air-tight
