Default A/C conversion R134A kit question

I know not to many honda drivers have A/C, but where I live with humidity I need it. I recently did the R134A conversion kit from R12, everything went smoothly. Now my question is what percentage does everyone else that has done this measures out to? mean, i'm about right at 25%. Do I need more for those that have also done this. Thanks for the help.

I am not sure what you mean by 25 percent. I had to do the retrofit as you did. I just used the three cans that came with the kit and it was basically all good after that. I think the r12 is still alittle colder, but atleast i am not destroying the ozone layer

you did all three cans in the air compressor?? see, thats what I was not sure of, because i was reading the r12 stamp on my car and it said max pressure of 650g or 23 oz, each of those cans supplied were 12 oz. i only used one can and the one can of oil. anyone else with tips on this?? thanks again. are you supposed to use all three cans, regardless what the r12 stamp says???

I failed to mention that my A/C was completely discharged so I had zero pressure. Sorry about that.

No. You can either put in the reccomended weight of 134a, (reccomended amount of r12 - 1 2/3 ounces, per Honda.) or charge it by high side presure. (You will need a temperature/presure chart.)
