Default A/C Clutch Oil?

What will happen if I run Ester 100 oil in my GSR a/c compressor. I know PAG 46 is reccomended, but a friend of mine reccomended the Ester 100 Oil if the compressor is old and high mileage.

Why would it destroy my compressor, it wasn't an R12 system with mineral oil. Isn't Ester oil supposed to be compatable with PAG Oil?

Yeah, that's what my buddy who works at Honda said, but another guy at NAPA said that there is also another oil called estercool that is compatible with ester, pag, mineral or parrafin oils. Have you heard anything about that?

I've heard guys a napa say alot of stuff. I also work at a honda dealer and all the service manuals advise against using other oils even though they might be campatable. I personaly would never use anything other then what is specified by the manufacturer, your always better off that way.
